FAQs
What are the timings of the course?
Unless otherwise specified, our courses will start at 10am and last for 2.5 hours. This is subject to change depending on the conditions on the water.
What will happen on the course?
The course is primarily focused on water skills. Unless adverse conditions prevent water sessions, the whole course will be on the water. On some of our courses, you will also have the opportunity to hear from guest speakers. In the past this has included the RNLI.
What boats will I row in?
Our course is primarily run in singles and you are welcome to bring your own single and rack it at the club. If you are booking a course with another person and you would like to go in a double together, we can also arrange for this.
We do not put out any sweep rowing boats as this is a sculling course.
