TSS Book-Keeper – maintaining financial records:

The TSS Club Book Keeper is in charge of the following:

  • Reconcile bank account (weekly)

  • Process supplier invoices and make payments to suppliers, incl coaches

  • Chase coaches for copies of invoices

  • Ensure all invoices are appropriately approved

  • Provide reports for race entries and membership as required

  • Repay race entries etc as required

  • Ensure all camp costs are recovered from squads

  • Pay coach expenses in line with policy

  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure all assets are recoverable and all liabilities are paid

  • Process payroll (monthly)

  • Make payments to employees and HMRC

  • Issue P60’s/P45’s etc

  • Prepare VAT return

All of the above is undertaken by a book keeper and takes 7 hours a week plus extra at month end re payroll.  The club Treasurer provides oversight and guidance whenever there are uncertainties.
