TSS Book-Keeper – maintaining financial records:
The TSS Club Book Keeper is in charge of the following:
Reconcile bank account (weekly)
Process supplier invoices and make payments to suppliers, incl coaches
Chase coaches for copies of invoices
Ensure all invoices are appropriately approved
Provide reports for race entries and membership as required
Repay race entries etc as required
Ensure all camp costs are recovered from squads
Pay coach expenses in line with policy
Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure all assets are recoverable and all liabilities are paid
Process payroll (monthly)
Make payments to employees and HMRC
Issue P60’s/P45’s etc
Prepare VAT return
All of the above is undertaken by a book keeper and takes 7 hours a week plus extra at month end re payroll. The club Treasurer provides oversight and guidance whenever there are uncertainties.
